Shelby is our lead audiologist with a passion for hearing health and wellness. She began her journey in the hearing loss community as she watched her grandparents struggle with hearing issues, and later her sister. She found interest in hearing aids as small devices making a significant impact on someone’s life. Shelby graduated from the University of Minnesota and later earned her Doctorate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. As a Doctor of Audiology, she is privileged to assist the community with hearing health and VA compensation and pension claims.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her enjoying quality time with her husband, David, and their son Matthew, who’s six years old (with another little one on the way this Thanksgiving!). Their family wouldn’t be complete without their furry friend Maddie, an 11-year-old Goldendoodle.
Shelby is a sports enthusiast who regularly cheers on the Wisconsin Badgers and the Vegas Golden Knights. But beyond sports, she’s deeply passionate about raising awareness for rare hematology disorders like Hemophilia B, which her son Matthew bravely battles.
In her free time, she volunteers at Matthew’s school, Faith Lutheran Academy, and continues her education through online CEUs to stay at the top of my field. Audiology wasn’t always her plan, but after witnessing the impact of hearing loss on my family, she found her calling in helping others hear better and live fuller lives.
